It’s annoying having to sift through often-stupid junk mail in my email folders. The amount of rubbish and phishing scams I have to deal with. Maybe this little GIF might scare off the “$5 million from a Nigerian politician” chancers.

This cute little GIF, a US-style letter box that opens to reveal a cluster of hearts, was a popular feature on the user-generated network of sites called GeoCities during the 1990s. It was, as appearance suggests, use to indicate links to emails. Sadly I don’t know its origins.

Way back in May 2016, we featured a clever cat named Baron who waits for the post to arrive in the morning before running off with it (see the post here). Here’s another GIF of the family dog’s worst nightmare, showing just fast the cat is at its receptionist duties. Well done Baron!
