While England’s World Cup lads may have been troubled by southern Russia’s midges, the Panamanian side were not so irritating, even with all the goalside hugging. Two good penalties, an impressive Lingard and Harry Kane with his hat-trick and Golden Boot potential. England are currently 6-1 over the Canal Men. Well done boys, you’ve done my country proud.

Showers, showers, no hot water anywhere!
The hot water at home probably won’t be sorted until today, so again I had to come to work early to shower. Only problem is, the shower on my floor is broken, and there was no flowing hot water either. Sod my life!

Finally… a shower
My first day back at work after the Xmas and New Year break. The hot water at my home has stopped working and I was forced to use the shower cubicle at work. I got in early, only to find the hot water at work wasn’t functioning either. Luckily, it soon started up, and now I feel like I’ve bathed in clouds, air and gushing waterfalls.
