The GeoCities cat

In the heydays of the web hosting service GeoCities (1990s-2000s), this little critter, a simple tabby cat chasing an insect, was a staple GIF on many of its sites. Sadly the sleepy and active kitty never made the jump to Web 2.0, but is an important footnote in the history of the GIF as a decoration piece.

The toy machine – now with added cat

This Turkish cat wants to be a prize for a loving new forever home. But getting picked up by those claws is going to hurt like hell, so maybe he’s better huddling with the cuddly toys.

In other words, you sabotage his sleep, he sabotage your luck!

Ejector bed

For those of us who just can’t get up in the morning, here’s the Ejector Bed. Invented by British inventor and online TV star Colin Furze, the bed will literally tip you out the back door of the Land of Nod, hopefully straight into the bathroom.
