Art City – Istanbul

An art installation by Erdal Inci in Istanbul, Turkey. Named ‘Light Dome’, it was a FHD video and light project commenced in 2014 by Inci. In the background is the Kılıç Ali Paşa Mosque and the Tophane fountain, old Ottoman landmarks of the city.

Enhanced contact

Perhaps one day we’ll make contact with an advanced extraterrestrial civilisation that will revolutionise humanity and the world in ways we can’t begin to fathom.

Fluting to the fishes

Music and Culture Like Water to a Fish. A fish only discovers its need for water when it is no longer in it. Our own culture is like water to a fish. It sustains us.

Mumbai fog

For my trip abroad tomorrow, the first part of India I’ll make contact with is (wait for it…) Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (IATA: BOM, ICAO: VABB), also known by its previous nick of Sahar Int’l Airport. This airport serves the hectic metropolis of Mumbai. I’ll be staying at a country house near Nallasopara, a surburban town outside the city. To give you a flavour of what Mumbai is like, I present to you this foggy GIFwork by Aaron Lopez.
