Azzy weds Humaira 29-05-2016

 

Tomorrow (Sunday 29th May, 2016), my younger brother Aslam (Azzy) will be marrying his sweetheart Humaira at a nikah wedding ceremony at the Beaver Centre in Selinas Lane, Dagenham. The wedding will be an intimate occasion with nearest and dearest family.

I wish the husband- and wife-to-be many congrats on their special day. May their marriage always be blissful and joyous.

London Mayoral Elections 2016

 

Today is polling day for the elections for London mayor and the unseating of eccentric incumbent of the robes Boris Johnson. Up to now, it seems like a two-horse race between Labour’s Sadiq Khan and the Conservatives’ Zac Goldsmith. Unfortunately I didn’t get my postal voting forms. Rather disappointed to not be able to vote on my city’s future.
