Mauritius holiday Nov. 2018 – 1

From tomorrow until mid-December, I’ll be in Mauritius in the Indian Ocean, visiting my family there and generally having a good time!. Probably will not be able to post much, if at all, on Gifville, but will be missing you guys all the same.

Perfect Beach, CA

Sun-kissed seas, sublime sunsets, tropical resorts and dolphins frolicking amongst the palms. It’s my kind of perfect.

Independent Mauritius at 50 – 3

Celebrating the beauty of our wonderful island republic. I may be an Anglo-Mauritian with roots in three countries, but I’m very proud of my Mauritian heritage, not just today, but every day.

It feels a little like Iceland

Thanks to the ‘Beast from the East’ weather front and Storm Emma, the UK has felt more like a certain northern neighbour. Now while you shop at Iceland (the supermarket), you can actually feel like you’re visiting Iceland (the country).
