An Islamic school in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, US, is encouraging people to help fund it by changing their utilities suppliers through its special energy service. Could this be the future of scholastic funding?

The above GIF depicts a spinning gold dinar issued by the Sultanate of Kelantan in Malaysia, the world’s first modern Islamically-sound bullion coin. The 22 karat coins were issued in 2010, as a way of protecting against inflation often borne by paper money. You could think of it as an Islamic krugerrand.
