My mum works as a carer for elderly people at a nursing home, and despite the heat, she had to do a stackload of ironing for one lady. luckily the husband of said lady provided a fan to ease the sweats.

My home’s property management company want to carry out room inspections next week. Now I’ve got to make sure that my room is spotless (well almost). What’s annoying though, apart from the fact I feel like my privacy is being invaded, is that I have to sort out the best time for the inspection to happen. The dates they’ve given are all workdays, for crying out loud.
