Yesterday was the hottest day of 2018 so far, with temps of 30+ degrees Celsius predicted for London/the South-East this Wednesday or Thursday. It’s roasting in London, how do you deal with the heat? – Choose your weapon…

Thirty-four degrees

It could reach 34 degrees Celsius here in London today, the highest temperature experienced on these shores since 1976 (forty years). Lets pray for those who work in hot kitchens, construction and anyone travelling on the Central line Tube.

July 2016 heatwave in the UK

Today has been the hottest day this year, with temps reaching 31C (87.8F) here in London and a national maximum of 35C (95F) in some parts of south-east England. I’ve literally been sweltering, although frankly it was not as unbearable for me as 2015’s heatwave was.
