The Hongyagu glass bridge

This shiny, see-through attraction in China is famed for bringing out the fear in its visitors. If a drop of several hundred metres with nothing but glass between your feet and a nasty ending isn’t bad enough, the glass allegedly does an illusion of suddenly cracking when you step on it. Do I smell shepherd’s pie, or should I say, runny digested noodles? Yikes!!

Clowning around

In honour of the ‘killer clown’ craze currently sweeping across the US, UK and Ireland. Hundreds of incidents have been reported of people in clown masks and costumes scaring and even chasing victims, while armed with machetes and chainsaws. The craze, which began picking up just before Hallowe’en is said to have been inspired by the remake of the 1980s clown horror film It, coming out soon. I haven’t seen any clowns yet but if any want to play with me, I’ve got a boot in the face that will permanently make them look like a clown…

Alien – the office remake

That infamous scene when the Alien encounters a grimacing Ripley is recreated on an office petty cash budget. The bloodier scenes were made with ketchup bought from the Sainsbury’s across the road.
