Freemojis

I’ve recently joined this unusual website called Freemoji Lottery. The premise is that you choose your five favourite emojis. Then every day, a draw is run with five emojis chosen from the keyboard. Get all five, you win. Up above are some emojis re-interpreted by designer Pat Johnson.

Let’s be friends

Nowadays, social media is one of the easiest ways to find new friends. Though criticised for impeding face-to-face communications, at least you can flood your new-found buddy’s inbox with emojis. Somehow, posting dozens of sheets of paper with emojis on them through that same buddy’s letterbox might end the friendship faster than it started.

Happy zone

Welcome to the ‘Happy Zone’ – here’s a GIF I made back in June this year. Gifville is the perfect place to find happiness. All we do is put in front of your eyes and screen GIFs that will make you laugh, smile, giggle and think, and it’s a role we are proud to play. So just load up this cool blog, have a chuckle, and remember, leave your sadness at the door.

Send Flash Messages ⚡️ for free

Caller ID app Truecaller unveiled a new function in May 2017, where you can send a contact in your phone a ‘fast flash’, to notify them of a text message.

Food, glorious food

My colleague Sandra’s husband works as a delivery driver for a restaurant, and brings home a lot of leftover food from his workplace. Sandra brings a lot over to our office. I’ve had cake, salmon and chicken, all in neat little white boxes. She and her hubby don’t even have to cook that much.

It’s ‘Smileys and Emojis get in Free’ Night at the Ministry of Sound. Lots of acid house in the playlist.
