If you were wondering why there were no posts on Gifville yesterday, it’s because I was in the process of moving home. From Plaistow, I’ve relocated to Ilford, due to my tenancy being terminated by my landlord as he wanted to convert my room into a storage space. Ilford’s a good place with big houses and plenty of shops and entertainments on offer, but no Eiffel Tower.

Good morning folks!. It’s the 10th of January 2017. The sales people here are as chirpy as hell, and we’ve all solidly survived the tube strike. Apparently strikes (and good cafe et chocolate) are a common thing in Paris. Tough yet romantic. I like that! – artwork by ‘naghi63’ from Iran.

A GIF made by a Portuguese speaker depicting the Portuguese coat-of-arms and the Eiffel Tower of Paris, in a cross-cultural homage to the victims of the attacks there.
Made using PicMix, it simply reads “Estamos de luto convosco” – “We mourn with you”.
