A special GIF of a yellow rose made by a Facebook GIFs sharing group I like on the social media outlet. This group has given me a lot of interesting and otherwise undiscoverable images and it is nice to give them here a bit of credit and a post all of their own.

This past week, I tried my hand at producing some GIFs of my own, based on the blog’s branding.
The first GIF with the zoom effect and the fancy text was made with Gif-in-gif, a perpetual GIF site, with the text added in via Giphy’s patented ‘Gif Caption’ interface, which allows you to add captions, subtitles and animated text to GIFs and JPEGs.
The second GIF, a rotating cube, was made with Bloggif ‘the Swiss army knife of photo editing’. Nifty, don’t you think.
I’ve also produced GIFs using video I shot myself, but I’m saving those treats for another time 😉
