They shall grow not old
as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them
nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun
and in the morning,
We shall remember them.

The War of the Clowns soon takes over the streets of France, and a fearsome new weapon of cream and mirth makes its entrance: the double-layered wide dish custard pie. The German clowns won’t know what hit them.

A fun prank. Surprised someone didn’t try to smother him with a pillow though.

In honour of those who made the ultimate sacrifice on today, the 70th anniversary of VJ (Victory in Japan) Day, not only those who fought in the battles of the Far East, but those who were killed in the nuclear attacks on Nagasaki and Hiroshima in August 1945.
It is the 101st anniversary since the installation of the world’s first set of traffic lights, and internet search engine Google has released a special doodle to mark the occasion. Meanwhile to celebrate, those little lit-up dudes you see at pedestrian crossings decided to have a big ruckus.
The first red and green lights were installed in Cleveland, Ohio in the United States, on August 5, 1914. The original design though came from a Salt Lake City, Utah policeman named Lester Wire. He came up with the idea in 1912.
