From Liverpool St. to Ilford

A journey through a third of London to make one’s way home, every week. That is life, that is what keeps me going and what keeps on inspiring me.

Le thé

” Le thé , bien que moqué par les âmes naturellement rustres, restera à jamais le breuvage privilégié des gens d’esprit.”
Thomas de Quincey

Tea, though highly mocked by naturally boorish souls, will remain for ever the favoured drink of those with spirit.
Thomas de Quincey

We the Meeting

Today at 1.30 pm I’m having a meeting with someone I went to school with to discuss doing some graphic design work and ad hoc stuff for his social media management company. It’s going to be at the McDonald’s restaurant in Ilford High Road, a short (if heatwave-flavoured) walk from my home. I wonder what we will be discussing.

Distractions at the cinema

Things that irk me at the pictures: overamorous couples, loudmouths, PDAs, teenagers (some mind you), people standing up in front of the screen, sticky floors….
