Janmashtami 2015 – 1

Gifville would like to wish everyone a very happy Janmashthami.

This is a Hindi-language GIF from a popular Indian text messages and poetry site, with the words “Shubh Janmashtami” (Happy Janmashtami) in flashing 3D letters and an image of Lord Krishna all regaled and playing the flute on a leaf. Very beautiful.

Raksha Bandhan 2015 – 1

Raksha Bandhan is a Hindu festival where sisters tie a rakhi thread around their brothers’ wrists and wish them health, prosperity and happiness.

“We gain and lose things everyday. But trust me on one thing. You’ll never lose me. I will always be here.”

Happy Raksha Bandhan

These special posts for today are dedicated to my sisters Sherrie, Alia and Anjali.

International Cat Day 2015

Writing-type-cat

Greeting kitteh lovers!

Today is International Cat Day in celebration of our feline friends, and where else is best to mark the occasion than on the home of cat memes of all breeds, the internet of course. ICD was created originally by the International Fund for Animal Welfare in 2002, and occurs every August 8th.

The above GIF would be me if I was an animated blogging kitten. Purrr-hahahaha!
