Internet search engine Google has radically changed its logo for the first time since 1999. The new logo dispenses with the seriffed letters used since the company’s founding in 1998 and goes for a sleeker look in light of the Google founder’s reorganisation of their company into Alphabet. Apparently the new logo was chosen to make it easier to view on mobile screens.
Above is the commemorative ‘doodle’ marking the Google logo changeover.
